“Miss. Thornton?” She said, smiling, “I’m sorry, I asked one of our teachers if there might be anyone to help me catch up on charms and everyone said you were the girl to go to.” She blushed, and looked down at the table, “And here I am being presumptuous! I’m Felicity Mallory.” She offered a hand, “If I’m disturbing you just tell me to go!” 

In response to her mother’s letter, Lucinda thought to go look for Leila. She hadn’t seen her best friend for days, ever since she’d recommended a little more confidence. She thought at first that Leila had been avoiding her, and just like everyone else, she’d pushed the sweet girl away. But then her mother made a good point, Leila just wasn’t the type. Something must have happened to her. She found her friend in the corridor and called out to her, “Leila, are you alright? I haven’t seen you for days!”

Felicity had been pouring drinks down Leila’s throat for the last few hours and was satisfied with the results. She slipped an arm around the woman’s waist and said almost seductively in her ear, “I think the party is pretty much over. Let’s get you to bed.” She pulled Leila out of the great Hall and began the trek up to the Slytherin common room. They definitely wouldn’t be going to Leila’s room. 

“Leila, I love you dearly,” Lucinda sighed, looking down dissatisfied at her embroidery. “But you cannot let those Gryffindor’s bully you into playing their ridiculous games!” Bully was a strong word, but Lucinda had always had a flair for the dramatic, “It really isn’t ladylike to be flying around trying to throw balls into hoops.” Of course Lucinda could not fathom the reason anyone would want to play such a sport. She looked up, putting the task down with annoyance, “You really ought to learn to say no once in a while. Have a little...you know, confidence.”
