“Finally, I’m seeing you clearly,” Snow stated with a scoff.

“What do you see?” David replied with a half-smirk.

“A fraud. A shepherd who has no business being royalty.”

“Well, I see a spoiled little princess who ran away from her troubles. WHO ALWAYS RUNS AWAY.”

“I can’t believe I had a child with you.”

“Who knows? Maybe you didn’t? Could be Whales!”

“Oh, shut up! You’re one to talk, David. You ran away from the farm and the castle more than anyone,” Cadence yelled, standing up but being pulled back to the table.

“Whose side are you on?” David yelled.

“Neither! You fell for THAT little brat? Katherine was much better.”

“KATHERINE?! You never liked me,” Snow shouted, “You were jealous because I stole your brother from you and that your EX-boyfriend’s mother hated you.”

“Oh, please." She remarked, "You fell for the wrong TWIN BROTHER! You thought it was JAMES NOT DAVID for months, he lied. You lied back.”

“At least I didn’t shoot my man!”

David glanced at her, “Your man? Oh look, she cares!”

“Shut up, I wasn’t talking to you!” Snow yelled, turning back to his sister-in-law, “So?”

“You shot him with a bow and arrow. You’re an annoyed little princess who thinks she’s always right. NEWS FLASH NOW, you ain’t. If you were right, you wouldn’t have married him or met me,” Cadence yelled.

“YOU LITTLE—you never let anyone help you.”

“I should’ve left you to drown years ago in that lake.”

“I should’ve let you get caught by those wolves.”

Both girls kept arguing with David jumping in shouting at both his sister and wife.

Kristoff rolled his eyes, “If this is what marriage is like, I’m glad you keep postponing ours.”

“You were gonna marry him, Anna?” Cadence asked with a laugh.

“Oh, don’t you start.”

“He sucks.”

“Hey!”

“He farts so bad, never shuts up about his reindeer and oh—“

“DON’T.”

Anna sighed, “You know what? I’m gonna go find my sister. And you two stay here, where you can’t annoy anyone. Expect me with your words.”

“You ran away from me! Anna, he’s a cheater, you wanna marry that?” Cadie said, spilling the beans.

Anna gasped, “You cheated on a princess, Kristoff?”

“He moved to Arendelle the next day.”

“I’m so sorry. Kristoff never ran away from me…I think?”

“That’s because he always had a thing for redheads, sweetheart.”

Kristoff shouted, “HEY! That’s it! You are a spoiled little rat-”

“You’re the one who couldn’t settle on a career!” Cadence yelled back

“You were a child farmer.”

"And you chose to be around ice and snow. You know who can do your job better? January!"

“Ice work seemed better at the time! So I studied it!”

“The whole town is FROZEN! Why are you selling ice for?”

“Farmer.”

“Stable boy.”

David and Snow kept fighting, while Kristoff and Cadence kept bickering. Anna tried to handle The Charming couple, but Snow kept making remarks, saying she was a murderer, causing Cadence to snicker with David barking over her.

Anna said sheepishly, “But you’re in love right? That has to count for something.”

“Love?! Ha! The moment I met her, she hit me with a rock!” David shouted.

Snow sighed, rolling her eyes, “Someone slip me a poison apple and put me out of my misery.”

Kristoff yelled, begging, “Me! Pick me.”

“Oh, shut it, Iceman!” David barked.

Kristoff bit back, “Oh ‘Iceman’? Who are you calling ‘Iceman’, ‘Stableboy’?”

“You! AGAIN the whole place is frozen! What are you selling ice for?!”

“IT’S MAKING ME GOOD MONEY!”

“You left us like it was nothing!”

It went on for a while. Until a certain figure showed up. Running into the station dressed in a black gown, was Regina with a fierce growl and a smirk. Cadence scoffed, Snow and David looked annoyed, Kristoff was searching for something to knock himself out with, and Anna was plain out confused.

Cadence muttered, “This is gonna be interesting.”

“Well, well, well, if it isn’t my lucky day. I originally came here to kill Emma, but now I get to kill the two idiots who started it all! And their personal sidekick!” Regina yelled.

“HEY!”

“You know who you are!”

“I served your ass for years.”

“But you went running back to them.”

David scoffed, “Well, in our defense, we didn’t tell Cora about your secret boyfriend.”

“Yeah, it was her!” Cadence agreed, pointing to her sister-in-law.

Snow furrowed her brows and remarked, “ARE YOU SELLING ME OUT?!”

“SHUDDAP! You all deserve to die, not just for what you did, but for your whining!” Regina shouted over them, pointing around to the trio, “But your punishment should fit your crime. You took my first true love from me, and now I’m gonna return the favor. By taking your baby.”

The trio yelled and shouted over one another for Regina to stop, as she poofed Kristoff and Anna away, throwing Snow’s door open and tossing Cadence into the same cell as her brother.

Snow and Regina squared off, with swords. The fighting soon commenced, dueling out in front of the shared cells. Soon enough, Regina towered over Snow nearby the desk. Across the desk stood the stroller.

“CAREFUL! The stroller's not under warranty anymore.” David called.

Snow strained, “You said you bought it new!”

“It was slightly used!”

Cadence recounted, “It was gently used!”

Snow grunted, kicking Regina off her, swaying the sword towards her midriff as she pushed back.

Regina glared, “Tell me when you’re tired of missing, Mary Margaret.”

Snow half-smirked, “I only have to hit you once.”

She swung and missed, Regina pushed her away, and both slipped on the flooring of the station. They used everything around them to fight: stacked papers, clothes, and small figurines. One of them was a tiny dog and a deep blue sweater.

“Hey!” Cadence called out.

Snow looked over her shoulder, “Is that my sweater?!”

“You never used it.”

“I was saving it for an occasion.”

“Like when?!”

Regina looked around to see if Cadence stole anything from her as well. However, as she was distracted, Snow took the upper hand, wrapping her arms around the woman and slamming them both against the cell block.

David and Cadence tried to take the upper hand, helping Snow as Regina pushed herself away from the trio.

The fight kept going back and forth, with David and Cadence watching like two school kids. They tried breaking out of the cell, but it was no use.

They screamed and shouted the whole time, even making remarks to Snow and Regina.

“Uppercut! Lock her onto the table,” Cadence yelled toward Snow. “Seriously?!” David looked at his sister.

“I’m helping!”

“At least tell her to swing the sword upwards to cut her cheek or something!”

“Oh, good idea! Snow, do that!”

Suddenly, a burst of magic flew across Storybrooke, hitting the Police Station, causing everyone to feel like they were slapped across the face and pushed forward like they were asleep. Breaking the short spell.

They all looked around, oddly confused, seeing swords in hands, papers on the floor, small figurines, and the front desk being pushed backwards.

Regina looked down at herself, seeing herself in her Evil Queen dress with her hair all messed up and dropped her sword. Cadence saw herself snickering as it turned into a set of giggles and laughter.

Regina looked ridiculous, honestly.

“What am I wearing?” Regina asked.

Snow looked at her, breaking into a small fit of chuckles that turned into laughter, followed by Regina laughing alongside her.

David was leaning against the bars of the cell, snorting and laughing so hard, he rolled onto the floor.

“I can’t believe i had two other kids with you.” Nikolai said looking down at his wife as he scoffed.

“Maybe you didn’t, could be Katherine’s!” She remarked, shouting as she rose to her tippy toes.

“Oh that’s rich coming from you!”

“Maybe those are her twins and you just convince me that they’re mine, cause the files shows you have a great track record convincing me to do shit!”

“Oh so everything is my fault?! I’m not the one to fluttered their goo goo eyes the day we met! Cause all signs point to you!”

“If that’s how marriage is, I’m glad you keep propositioning ours.” Alice muttered to Bella, as she glanced at her fiancé. She was under the cursed spell too, so she was just annoyed and tired trying to reach for anything that can get out of the handcuffs.

Bella rolled her eyes as she glanced up from looking at the babies, who were napping the whole time. Darlene and Margot were fast asleep without a care in the world. She envy her cousins right now for being asleep, hell she was thinking she should’ve went with Joshua and the others instead. Belladonna smiled at bit at the twins before turning her gaze to her fiancé.

“Are you serious?” She replied scoffing, “You’re just saying shit cause you’re under the spell.”

“No i mean it.” Alice added, playing with her handcuff, “I’m starting to think my new haircut wasn’t my only bad idea right now.”

“I told you not to get a color that made it look like the bi-flag threw up on you.”

“It looked good at the time! What do you know? You wear black, blue and red every single day.”

“Hilarious.”

Mia and Nikolai kept bickering left and right, along with Bella shouting over Alice’s nonsense. She was ready to slap her fiancé across the face as she muttered to Alice to keep it down. However, Bella wasn’t going to lie, seeing her aunt and uncle fight was actually entertaining despite the circumstances that led them to this situation.

She snorted and snickered every few seconds at them, while trying to keep the peace.

“That’s ridiculous.” Nikolai exclaimed barking back a remark.

Mia leaned against the remark and looked at her husband, “At least one of us knows how to swaddle our kids correctly.”

“I swaddle them perfectly.”

“May I remind of the time you tried to comfort our son after he lost the girl as he thought he loved?”

“Samantha wasn’t Joshua’s true love, she never counted!”

“So you’re saying that you comfort our children wonderfully? You never had a good childhood to begin with…”

“You wanna start bringing out dirty laundry huh? You never knew who your father was period! He was really some slinging drunk hunter who couldn’t never get a clear shot at anything! And when he did come to your life, it was because of your royal highness was sitting all high and mighty. Someone here doesn’t really have the best track record with men in her life, don’t you, sweetheart?”

Mia just dropped her jaw listening to him and exhaling a scoff.

“Anything else?” She said after a moment of silence, gesturing at him.

“Yes.” He smirked, “Whose idea was it for you to befriend 7 dwarves and not end up with riches afterwards? We could’ve had a bigger castle!”

“You liked the castle we built already!”

“But we could’ve payed for larger designs!”

“Oh my gods! I married a drama queen..”

“After 3 kids, you finally figured that out? Someone’s slow…”

“Hey!”

Bella walked over, standing between them and held back a snicker. After a moment she spoke, “Okay, so I get it your pasts are uh, weird and stuff. But your Amelia and Nikolai! You’re in love. That has to stand for something, right?”

“Love?! Ha! The day I met him, he made me fall and cut my cheek with a damn rock.” Mia remarked with her arms crossed.

Nikolai smirked, “Ah yes! And you responded by hanging me up by a tree, what a real lady you are?!”

“I still have the scar!”

“I still have mine!”

Bella added, “But they healed! Those scars and challenges are reminders of your journey, Alice help me out here.”

Alice looked up from her spot in the room and scoffed, “Nope!”

“Alice!”

“Ughhh fine, lass, lovers come and go but scars last forever.”

“ALICE NOT HELPING!”

Bella sighed, “Someone slip us a couple poison apples and put us out of use our misery..”

In the mist of it all, sliding into the room was none other than Alexander. The couple paused to look at him, as if some of their anger and frustration washed away. Bella’s eyes widen and covered the babies with a blanket, to wanting them to wake up anytime soon.

Alice stopped what she was doing and gasped, “Is it Halloween?! A too early for that costume.”

Alexander scoffed and rolled his eyes, “You know I originally came here to kill Ethan and Cole, but why not start with the another set of nincompoops who started it all?!”

“Can we not do this today? I’m not in the mood.” Nikolai remarked leaning against the bars.

Mia agreed, “Yeah try tomorrow when we’re back to getting some real sleep.”

“Exactly. I need to still recover from last weeks fight.”

“I thought you iced your wounds last night?”

“I did but I forgot to take pills this morning to help with the aches.”

“Well you can also take the pills at night time too.”

“Not a bad idea. I’ll do that tomorrow.”

Alexander groaned and rolled his eyes, “SHUT UP! Even your domestic talks are annoying.”

“Jealous.” Mia muttered under her breath.

“You should really get yourself a girlfriend, Alex.” Nikolai added with a sly grin.

Bella nods in agreement, “He’s just a lonely evil guy. He needs to get out more.”

She turns and that smile has finally fallen from her lips, her neck bobbing as she swallows thickly and drops her eyes to her boots. 

“Regina?” 

He almost doesn’t have time to react when she quickly grasps at his hand, lifts her eyes to his and lifts her other hand in a swift upwards motion, his stomach roiling at the sudden pull of her magic. It’s different to anything he’s ever experienced, travelling this way with her and though it’s over almost as quickly as it started, he can still feel the velvety comfort as it engulfed him. 

“Sorry,” she tells him once his eyes have readjusted. They’re in her office, the fire roaring to life with only a simple look from Regina. “I just needed a moment before we join them.” 

Robin nods his understanding both at the urgency of their departure and her need for it, this was never going to be an easy battle for her, and it appears she’d fared worse than what he’d hoped. She goes to move from him, to turn away and work away at the anxious energy he can practically see vibrating in the air around her but first, he murmurs a soft, “Regina?” smiling softly at her when those flighty eyes meet his own and tugging gently on her hand, bringing her in to him but allowing her the time to pull away. When she doesn’t, he lifts a hand to her jaw and leads her lips to meet his own in a purposefully tender kiss. It’s much like the one they’d shared when she’d come to warn him of the spell’s nearness, when she’d clutched at him as though her very life depended on it. He needed to be her anchor, to reassure her that he would not be moved by man nor beast, by natural or magical force. This is where he belongs, and this is where he’ll stay for as long as she’ll have him. 

Regina only presses closer to him when their lips part, wrapping her arms around his back and pressing her face into his neck. The breath she takes is deep and shaky, has him enveloping her all the more in his embrace. Safety is what she craves and it’s what he’s giving her, his love for her pouring into her from his very soul. He’ll give her all he has if she needs it. 

“I could have killed them, Robin…” she whispers after a long quiet moment, her breath raising goosebumps on the skin of his neck as his hand moves over her back in soothing passes. 

He’s confused, “Who, my love?” because she’d locked herself away…or perhaps she hadn’t managed to get that far. It was a possibility. He’d barely secured himself to the tree before all sense had been stolen from him by tiny shards. 

“Snow, Charming…” 

“But you didn’t, you-“ 

“The baby.” 

His hand stops at that, through sheer surprise alone but she takes it as disgust, must, because she’s quickly pulling free of his grasp and turning from the judgement she believes he holds for her now. His hand catches hers though and stops her from moving too far away by holding rather than restraining. He won’t use force on her today or ever, but he needs her to stop before her dark thoughts engulf her, take her too far from him. 

He laces their fingers together, a silent gesture of unity and comfort – he hopes – that has her turning her head and looking at their joined hands before she’s looking slowly up at his face with a trembling lip. 

Robin tilts his head slightly, an invitation for explanation or for none at all should she choose because he trusts her to share what she wishes with him and needs her to see that trust for what it is and she must see at least a little of it because, after allowing a solitary tear to stain her cheek, she pulls him gently with her to sit on the couch, their knees touching and hands clasped atop her thighs. 

Regina takes a moment to compose herself before she’s lifting red, watery eyes to his own, looking utterly devastated. “Emma broke the seal on my vault.” His brow furrows confusedly, anger simmering gently in his belly. He wants to rage instantly but he won’t. She wants to tell him, to confide in him and his rage won’t do any good in this moment, so he merely squeezes gently at her fingers, offering comfort as he nods for her to continue. “She needed my magic to destroy the ribbons Ingrid was using to keep them from hurting her. She told me she’d brought Marian back on purpose,” she shifts uneasily in her seat and swallows thickly, tears marking wet paths down her cheeks, and he can see it pains her to think of despite knowing it is not the truth. “She said she wanted to break my heart, to destroy my happiness much like her own mother had so I threw a fireball at her. It destroyed the bracelets, did what she wanted but I truly wanted to incinerate her right there and then, Robin. It’s a rage I haven’t felt in so long, haven’t wanted to feel but I did feel it. I felt it seeping into every fibre of my being and I welcomed it.” 

“It was the curse, Regina.” 

She shakes her head, but her fingers squeeze at his. She knows this, his comfort isn’t needed here, not yet. “She didn’t seal the vault when she left, she just ran without looking back, without caging me back up like the rabid animal I was.” 

He’s grateful for her use of past tense there. 

“I was free to go wherever I pleased, to roam the town freely and do with it what I wished because Emma Swan had no thought for anything other than her own ends and I know she was racing to save us all but her carelessness could have cost her her whole damn family, Robin. And if I had hurt them…if I’d have succeeded in what I’d sought for so long all those years ago…it would have destroyed me. If I’d have hurt that child, Robin…I-“ she cuts off as her throat grows too tight, her voice thick with sorrow as she lifts her hands to cover her crumpling expression as she practically falls forward into him in a silent plea for him to hold her while she pours out every ounce of grief she feels within her. 

His arms wrap easily around her as she fits against him just like she was made to do, his soul reaching out to her own, asking her to forgive herself because it was not her fault. “You’re not that person anymore, Regina.” He whispers into her hair, doubting she can even hear him over those heart-breaking cries, but he continues to do so regardless as he rocks them gently. 

He’ll give her as long as she needs in his arms, as long as she needs to break herself open because he will be here to help put her back together again. And then, when she’s ready, they will join the rest of the town in the diner to celebrate because, though she doesn’t realise it yet, this is probably the biggest step she’s taken in such a very long time on her road to healing. Recognising the progress she’s made, the hard work she’s put in to create this strange, patchwork family that surrounds her. And when Regina is happily chatting away to her son or his, when she’s good and distracted, he will pull Emma Swan aside and explain to her just how close she’d come to losing both her family and her new friend today.

That is a summary of this episode in a nutshell, because the “ermagod Shattered Sight curse” was a big old dud, aside from the Snow/Regina swordfight and Henry Home Alone-ing Hook.

Also . . . . . I’m gonna get shit for this, but I’m gonna say it.  I never said it when it aired and I never said it EVER.

The end scene, with Rumple strolling out of the shop was STUPID.

It was done for effect to make us watch the big bad strut away all confident.

But it makes NO DAMN SENSE.

Why would Rumple leave Hook alone in his shop with sleeping Belle to go off on his own to do villain stuff?  

Stupid, stupid, stupid.  

Yes, Rumple was hot as fuck in that scene.

But it was still stupid.
