The maze has 300x300 cells. Here's a more code-friendly, scaled-down format with 1px rooms and walls and marked start and end points: http://i.imgur.com/ovFrSGF.png 

I'm gonna try to use a simple backtracking algorithm and then adjust the approach if I run into any problems. Maybe use a simple heuristic to preferably move towards the goal first, if there are multiple ways to progress.

But first, just for fun, let's have a quick look at the structure of the maze. By flood filling connected walls in any paint program, we see that the solution path splits up into two routes at some point to later connect again. The two paths look about the same length, maybe the lower one is a bit longer, but it's hard to tell. The lower path is probably also the one tried first if we end up using the mentioned heuristic above.

As it turns out, the code is fast enough :)
