Hi, I'm really interested to do a cosplay of doppio but I've never cosplayed and i don't have much money to just buy the costume. So want to ask if u can give me some tips, that would be helpful
Okay,good news: doing Doppio with 0 experience and no budget is still do-able!
Bad news: You have to sacrifice accuracy.
1) Thrift yourself a purple sweater and purple pants and some loafers (you are highly unlikely to find purple loafers, get whatever fits. you can always get leather paint and get them the right colour later)
2) Get a medium length purple with with long bangs (try ebay). Pull half the bangs back into the ponytail
3) If you have $ left, get a couple packages of hot fix studs for your pants.
4) Complete your costume with a random household object “cellphone”
Done!
It’s far from perfect, but it’s still easily identifiable and you may make someone’s day just by doing Doppio :)
