Long ago on a foggy night, I spotted quite a distant light

A light suggesting visitors, visitors that came by sea

I build an airplane out of paperclips, much better that our great steel ships

I was going to take off, but they just flew to me

  There were sharks and sharks and sharks and sharks, sharks all through the night

Some sharks were nice, some made of ice, and some were made of light

Just sharks and sharks and sharks and sharks, as far as I could sea

That pun was intended, by the sharks and not by me.

  Some were green and some were black, one cosplayed as Thor

The sharks grew legs and then laid eggs till there were more sharks on my floor

The sharks with their offspring sharks then walked up to the roof

They suspected that humans were real, but they just wanted proof

  Now they went to fly away, fly majestically toward the bay

Giving off the light that they had given off before

I had no proof that they were here, and my heart began to race with fear

Until I noticed one single tooth, one tooth on my floor

  SHARKS AND SHARKS AND SHARKS AND SHARKS FLEW BACK TO THEIR BAY

I HOLD BUT ONE'S SINGLE TOOTH AS THEY FLY AWAY
