Year 6 Exhibition 2017
Preparations for the year 6 exhibition are well under way!
The theme for our exhibition is: Sharing the Planet.
Pupils are now in their groups based on areas of interest and have thought about central ideas and lines of inquiry. Mentors have been assigned to each group to support them through the process, so please encourage children to talk about what they will be doing/ have been doing at school.
The timetable has changed and pupils must attend Maths, English and Skills seminars each week. In addition to this, there is time for individual and group study. Good Self-management and organisation skills will be needed to ensure that all of this runs as smoothly as possible.
We had a logo competition, which was won by Telman form 6EP. This is the official logo for the NCBIS Year 6 Exhibition 2017 and will feature on documentation and will be used by the participants.Â
Take a look at the winning design!
There are currently 19 school days left until our exhibition goes live!Â
Key things for pupils to remember:
1) Bring personal journal and exhibition information booklet to school everyday
2) Complete a weekly reflection
3) Meet regularly with the mentor
4) Refer to and update your weekly timetable to ensure that all seminars are attended and study time is used effectively
#WaterMission 's #WalkforWater was a great event! So thankful to our #Memminger family for making this event a success for our #SharingthePlanet unit! (at Brittlebank Park)
