Disclaimer: Ben and Aziza’s relationship is not a romantic one, aziza was Ben’s babysitter, as Ben grew up, aziza start to become more like a caring older sister, Ben trusts Aziza because she doesn’t treat him any differently.

Also, another note, while in this au, this is not my oc’s original backstory, but because it’s an au, things are different, aziza’s a thep khufan, who came from a family of thep khufans who are more powerful than the pharaoh of the thep khufan, and probably richer.

The reason why her family are sort of “different” from the other Thep khufans is because they are more powerful in using magic/spells/curses.

They have their own giant palace abit away from the thep khuafn society, because her family are feared by the whole community.

And her family bearly trusts anyone outside of their families with their own powers, some of them even look down on anyone who isn’t as powerful as them.

While they do help out the thep khufan society and the royals with magic issues, and would join lavish parties they are invited to.

Also, they are no different that much, all of them has number of lovers and children, but, they have this very strange rule, while they are allowed to be in a relationship, have kids with them, but they are not allowed to get married to them, or bring them to live in the palace.

And the question probably, “why did sed trusted aziza to babysit Ben if her family is feared by the whole Thep khufan community”

1.he didn’t know, because him being away from his home planet and family.

2.Aziza’s family isolates their kids from public appearances, they only would ever make appearances when they are teenagers.

3.Aziza didn’t tell him, while she may not have known at first that sed’s one of pharaoh’s sons, but after knowing who sed is, she didn’t tell him in fear that she would never be able to see Ben again.

Aziza grew to love Ben in a family way seeing him as a little brother she never had.

Also, aziza, unlike her cousins, doesn’t have many siblings because her mom refused to have lovers, and chose to literally have only one husband! (Yes, she legally married him).
