My dog is always really excited to travel with me for some reason, even though she doesn’t like car rides and doesn’t like the places I take her or the dogs we meet there.

shanhammer mentioned you on a post
hey @wetwareproblem, im seeing some info saying that these hoods may actually have been popped bc they were doing a rly long investigation on a hot day and were trying to avoid the cars overheating, via some snopes links in the notes. what do you think?
Hiiiiiiighly skeptical.
In my experience, cops who are sitting somewhere for hours... turn the car off.
Cop vehicles may have upgunned engines and alternators, sure - but I have personally gotten an hour of life out of a car with no main cooling fan in 100-degree weather literally on the edge of Niagara Falls in stop-and-go traffic.
Snopes’s source was... literally the police department. Because they’re totally gonna say “Yeah, we block dashcams.” EDIT: Actually, it’s even worse than that. They asked if the department had a policy allowing dashcam blockage. OF FUCKING COURSE THEY DON’T! All the dirty-ass shit cops do is officially verboten. That’s what lets them spread the “it’s just a few bad apples” myth.
shanhammer replied to your post “Looking for nerdy vehicles to make keychains for. So far I have:...”
maybe a flux capacitor?
The format of the keychains is that it’s long and narrow, good for words but not much for symbols. Neat idea for another project though!
There seems to be a lot of debate around when to spay/neuter dogs and why, and every vet seems to have a different opinion than another vet on the matter. Is there any fast and sound "what to consider when deciding what age to fix your dog" criteria, or is it really that undecided in the community? question tax: fo you have a fave brand/flavor of cereal? mine's the smorez cereal! but only the name brand tastes good imo.
The question should not be “should you desex” but “When should you desex”.
It’s been discussed at length here. There is more and more data being gathered and processed, but these seems to be a general trend that purebred dogs prone to a few specific cancers may benefit from a delayed desexing, while small dogs and those not prone to those specific cancers are still worth desexing before the traditional first heat.

Cade got their hair cut nice n short, and they look so gay I’m gonna cry
Just because I think you should know! I, a non-jewish person (is the adjective form goyische?), may have followed you for your support of aces, but I stayed - even after blocking myself off from most discourse - for all the incredible information about judaism. I grew up southern baptist and as you might guess, never had any solid religious education about other religious traditions. it's so much better to hear about judaism first-hand than from a southern baptist pastor.
I grew up Southern Baptist, too, until I was 12 and we moved up north, so oh man, I know EXACTLY what you mean.Â
I'm struggling with some executive dysfunction issues, the worst being the mornings: there are too many "getting ready" tasks and I always miss some or mix up the order, and task initiation is infinitely harder in the morning before I've already done some things. Which tags on the blog would be a good place to start searching for ideas on coping mechanisms/strategies?
Try “mornings” and “routine” to start. If you don’t find anything there, let us know what you’re doing now and where things are falling apart, and we’ll see if we can help you trouble-shoot and tweak until you have something that works!
