Just watched Mulan.
Gotta say, it’s one of the movies of all time.
I used to rent Mulan every week from the video store and watch it as many times as I could before returning it so I've seen it quite a few times. Anyway. My adult brain just went "I'm glad that despite rigorous military training, Yao, Ling and Chien Po don't change physically." This is for obvious reasons as far as art theory and their silhouettes staying consistent; HOWEVER, my point is that they are all examples of forms of strength.
If you look at body builders, there are a VAST range of body types. Yoy have lean bodies, bulky muscular bodies, even bodies people describe as "fat" hold strength and power that more "conventionally attractive" gym bros simply don't have.
