My nephew’s been frozen, burnt, blistered, bound and shackled. [...] Sir George is clearly suffering from the acute distress of losing a beloved wife, he requires kindness and patience. The only lunatic in the room is there. For the sake of your nephew I beg you dispense of this brute, his methods will induce madness, not cure it.
for the killing eve asks: 9. Thoughts on season 3 so far? The writing? The editing? The acting? The plot?
9. Thoughts on season 3 so far? The writing? The editing? The acting? The plot?
A: It’s different. This season definitely has a different feel to it, the editing is also very different, but it shouldn’t be a surprise since other people are now working on the show. In terms of acting... it’s as phenomenal as it was the two previous seasons! Maybe even better? This season seems to be heavily focused on characters and their development so I might even say that the acting is way more important now than it was before and both Jodie and Sandra are doing an incredible job so far! Now about the plot, I like that they are focusing more on The Twelve since we didn’t really had much information about the organization to begin with and finally we are starting to see these new figures coming out (Helene) and just how big of an impact it has over the handlers and their other employees. Also really interested by Villanelle becoming a keeper storyline. I’m sure we will see more of that in the next episode so it only brings more excitement!! Knowing that each season has different showrunner means that writing will also change. It has changed. Characters are evoling and changing this entire time. Some people might not like it, but they can’t stay the same the entire show. So I guess we need to be more open-minded when it comes to this aspect! I might be biased, but I’m not going to rush and judge the third season just yet!
