It does, but my tablet has always been weird and it needs the software or it doesn’t connect or work properly and it’s really annoying
what tablet do you have? it sounds so strange that a tablet would be that fussy. But then again I've only had two kinds of tablet so what would I know. Have you thought about getting another?
