Lord I wish I knew. I personally still think he’s manic but lots of people on Twitter are really fighting me on that. Some people think he’s just that poorly written while others think it’s just who he is now and will be building to a big downfall… We know 

SPOILER ALERT

Sorry for the delay. Last night I seriously considered just writing “Bad.” 

I decided to put a teeny bit more thought into it, but the fact still remains.

Guys, it was bad. Plain and fucking simple. Bad to the point that it was offensive. The writing was piss poor, the characters are going into the dirt (and I mean that not because they are doing things I don’t want them to do, though there is that, it’s because they are fickle or going back on themselves or doing things that are just NOT them), the plotlines are scattered and underdeveloped or hackneyed and frankly I don’t have time for this level of negativity of just listing off why it was bad. I may get around to writing an analysis for it when I pick up my ICYMI posts later, but for now I just can’t bring myself to write even a simple review. Let me make this short and say:

I like Liam. I liked sassy and energetic Ian at the beginning. I liked Carl’s last line of the episode.

That was it. The rest was either rage inducing or hysterically bad. I literally laughed the entire episode because I was trying not to punch my screen.

I usually try to be more constructive in my reviews/criticism but I just can’t today. If anyone wants my opinion on a character in particular or plotline/event in particular, throw me an ask. Otherwise, this lady has gotta move on.

Next Sunday if you want to join in, I, and a few other people will be “boycotting” the episode and instead of live-tweeting the episode we will use that time to use the #Shameless tag and include our headcanons/grievances agains the show, hopes for the future of the show, etc.

For example, instead of posting a reaction to something a character does (because I will not be watching so will not know) I will post: 

“Remember when Mickey and Ian just suddenly became best friends? I wish we had been able to see their friendship blossom, but I’m still glad I saw their love grow. #Shameless” 

Or something to that effect. Please join in if you’d like, and if not that’s cool too.

Ugh, disturbing is certainly one way of describing it. Yeah, had it not been happening live I would have paused it and called my friend to start screaming. As it was I just had to keep watching and rage on Twitter.

So much bullshit.
