Blog 22: Inspiration from Movies: Dreaming Beyond the Screen
Great stories do more than entertain they sow seeds inside us, seeds that sprout into new visions and new worlds. When I started to create Shambhala: The Ascension Protocol, I found myself pulled towards certain films that dared to dream big. Kalki 2898 AD taught me how old legends could come alive in future worlds and how belief and technology could move together on the same stage. Doctor Strange showed how magic could be emotional, human, and change people, not just look amazing. The Last Airbender reminded me that elemental powers aren't just about control; they help us connect, find balance, and know who we are.
And then Ready Player One hit the screens. This film didn't just paint a picture of the future. It showed a future where people don't run from reality but reshape it through their imagination. This insight changed everything for me. I no longer wanted Shambhala to be just another story on a screen. I wanted it to be a story that players could step into - a world where ancient myths and future dreams would clash and where the players themselves would become the core of the legend.
Inspiration matters because it gives us the green light to imagine beyond what's possible. And thanks to these groundbreaking films, I stopped thinking about boundaries. I began to think about what we could bring to life.
