Flinging Some Paint!
Today I found some time to paint up a few of my Shaltari tanks
The detail work was particularly onerous and I painted the turrets and chassis separately but the end product looks pretty good if I was to toot my own horn a bit.

The Shaltnanigans Continue!
I was lucky enough to get a game of Dropzone in tonight and damn was it tough!
My space hedgehogs went up against the beefy bois of the UCM and man where they hard to shift!
Energy 10 gauss guns against armor 15 tanks meant I was hoping against hope for 5s and 6s. Luckily, the objective was indoors so my uber-scary ronin were able to sweep and clear!
It all came down to a single objective building with praetorian commandos dodge rolling all over the place while my ronin and Daimyo Commander tried to evict the stubborn soldiers. Well fought all around. Looking forward to next week!

I made some pretty good headway on my backlog tonight! Still plenty of work to be done but for now I'm happy with the progress.

Getting Down to Details
My Shaltari army continues to chug towards completion. Today my key victories were my Puma Sonic Warstrider:

I was suuuuuuper nervous about the Daimyo but it came out really well! Hoping to continue to move my army closer to completion.

An update on my Dropzone Army
I managed to prime a little over half of my minis before my primer gave out. Luckily, my 1000 pt list is unharmed and I started on the main battle tanks and a few bases of Braves.
They got their base coat, plus a blue highlight layer. They still need their green highlight plus metallics and shading but overall off to a nice start!
