So quiet. 

The atmosphere was very calm for the beginning of the night. Maybe it was because there weren’t still drunk men in the streets? Well, he had not been in that place for long, he had moved out a week ago. He was looking for work but did not seem to find any interesting place.

After blowing the smoke up, he threw the cigarette butt on the ground and stepped on it to turn it off. But then, he noticed someone next to him, where he blinked and looked at her, he didn’t noticed her, that was quick.

“ Hey if you don’t like Velial Squad at least tell me so I can change the song. ”

          Pathetic. How else could you possibly describe the person in front of her? With a smug demeanour of sorts, Elpis gently placed down a small packet of mints onto the counter. A soft smile spread across her face as she looked up at the cashier.

while she would have hated to admit it, the jolt of her body and her half lidded expression proved just how close madotsuki had been to falling asleep on the shoulder of the other. call it payback for their very first encounter, though at least this showed that the dreamy girl had a sense of trust around the other.

๑ - Truthfully, she had wanted Madotsuki to stay where she was. She found it soothing to be around her, and she had dealt better with her than any  ‘professional’ that had come in to try and solve her problems. Part of it was probably the white coats- they reminded her too much of the doctor that had attempted to feed her to Keiko. 

suddenly being pinned as such could be so much fun———— it was a signal to madeline that she had finally pressed just the right button in the other’s patience, cut the right wire… now was the time to have the most fun. his grip on her arms was familiar, always held in the same way, firmly though not quite enough to cause injury.

and then the egg which was held so firmly in her hand fell to the floor with a splat.

It was a s e c u r e grasp. One that SAFELY communicated what he desired to relay without causing either personage too much physical OR emotional damage. 

Satisfied with the retort he’d prematurely assumed was the cessation of their conversation, his grip eased. STILL, he was reluctant to release her skin from his hold. SOMETHING ( though he was unsure of what e x a c t l y it was ) told him not to. 

& almost INSTANTLY, he was able to determine why it was that this instinctive feeling had jutted into his logic so abruptly.
