   Despite indirectly complimenting him basically, her expression is rather sad before she takes a deep breath and forces herself to go back to a more neutral expression. Just forget it for now, it's time to move on probably. Make friends or something. If you can even do that in Hell. 

   Keeping her focus on the creation, there's a hum of amazement that manages to escape her. Ears perk up slightly as she looks over it, only to soon chuckle at his word usage.

Though imagining someone like you using more modern terms is kind of funny, taking one look at you, I can say you're from the Victorian era which means slang wasn't really a thing for you, nor would it be proper for you to use. And some of the things I know aren't exactly you want to hear from a lady's mouth. "

The amount of question marks that should be floating around his head are astronomical. Was he goin' crazy? No--naaaaah. If he was prone to going insane, he'd of done that real young.

Mm, bound to happen he supposed. A misstep in his direction rather than the other way around. Grateful Stan didn't take note. Or at least didn't seem interested in investigating. Probably figured Lucifer would do the work.

Demons here were very distinct. More tar goop than anything else. Unless one counted the Fallen--they weren't typically very goopy. Made of different stuff.

And demons from Vox's Hell were also very distinct. Much less goopy, for one thing. Colorful, for another.

He knew it well that in a lot of situations it was the hero takes down the monster, the villain, whatever evil was afoot but in most situations the seemingly self proclaimed monster didn't recognize the fact they were a monster. At least, they didn't recognize it and accept it in the was she did. This acceptance, to him, felt more like accepting some sort of known duty of fate you had to accomplish. Not the usual villain or monster recognizing what they were and then enjoying it.

Maybe it was a bit naive to hope telling her now it didn't have to end how she expected might change something. People don't just change in a snap after all but it had to be worth a try, didn't it? Maybe it could change something. Even something little, even something in the future and not immediately.

        “ If you just... stop then I'm sure it doesn't have to go the way you expect. ”

Well, mostly doesn't. Owlson would probably still want the villain arrested and punished, even if they were to stop her current crimes, but maybe stopping now would get her a lighter sentence? Especially since those words, to him, almost seemed to imply a sense of having no other choice. Nothing else to turn to for survival, perhaps.

   There's only a brief wave in response from Damien, it's not the matter of being disobedient really, but rather the fact that he's irritated she wanted to go out so much and now he had to come looking for her in the first place. Either way, he works his way back to his own manor to wait for Sir Pentious to return with Nimue.

   Nimue however had remained in the living area of Pentious' manor, talking to the Egg Bois who had opted to circle around her. They were such strange little creatures, eggs, whatever they actually were. Amusing too at that, they were almost like children with how they seemed to behave. She found it quite cute really. 

   Upon hearing the doors open, her ears perk up slightly as she looks in that general direction. It's not until the Egg Bois quickly scramble over to Pentious to greet him that she stands herself and straightens herself out.

" Welcome back, Sir Pentious. Your little minions sure are talkative. " A pause. " Is everything okay? "
