If the unborn child turns out to be a son, he's going to have a claim to the house in the future. If the kid is a daughter as expected, then she can marry and have a son and claim the house for the grandkid. You're just going to set up scandals with nonsense like that.
Had the Ise House been a disgraced household like the Shibas, or some lower-class trash that would be better suited never affiliating with the Kyoraku house again, sure, maybe (but even then, it'd have to be REALLY bad). But they were a line of priests. They had a Holy Treasure so sacred that giving it away had Widowku executed on the spot.
But the pages are so close together that a swift read through the manga is going to make you think that Nanao rightfully belongs to the Kyoraku bloodline. Which she does not.
