Basing this off the last ask you got (Generational All Stars). Who are your favorite Pokespe Dex Holders by generation (you can only pick one per generation)?
Favourite Dexholders huh? All of them jk.Lets see then…
Kanto: Green - I wasn’t so much of a fan of him in RGB but his role as not just “The Trainer” of Pokemon but also the trainer of trainers in both the Yellow and XY arcs puts him as my favourite for this region. (He’s basically like the Piccolo of Pokespe hehe).
Johto: Gold - The dexholder that I found least likely to be my favourite and yet… Eh what can I say, his quirks can be charming, sometimes. His values towards friendship and determination to fight for a sense of purpose is quite admirable.
Hoenn: Ruby - Not sure if I’ve mentioned this before but I really love Ruby heh. He can seem selfish at times but he still manages to set things right eventually (even if he has to learn the hard way). He’s so complex as a character especially in the way that first impressions are never what they seem, I love him. Give me the flawed protagonist any day.
Sinnoh: Platinum - She’s so refined, intellegent and strong. She may have bodyguards as friends but that doesn’t mean she won’t defend them from harm herself. Quite possibly the strongest battler of the dexholders due to an iron winning streak and the ability to adapt to any battle based on knowledge alone (maybe equal with Black, they’re pretty similar in that way).
Unova: Black - Ah he’s so entertaining to read and watching him develop as a character is always my favourite thing about the BW arc. Seeing him go from arrogant and neglectful of others feelings to being the top motivator of everyone elses dreams was such good character development imo. Plus the battle with Cheren was quite possibly my favourite battle in all of Pokespe ;-;.
Kalos: X - I have a thing for the broody type ngl, but he’s more than that. He has those little moments where he poses dramatically but does it so… nonchalantly lol. Seeing X constantly being pushed out of his comfort zone even when it ended in failure sometimes was relatable and often painful to read, especially when you have a severe anxiety disorder and socialphobia yourself.
Alola: Moon - We may only be a few chapters in but Moon is already one of my favourite dexholders. She’s an archer on the pursuit of knowledge with a mysterious side to her… yep, I love her.
