Two - Step Smokey Eye
Two – Step Smokey Eye
There are days when I literally have a handful of minutes to get out the door. From waking up early for work, rushing around to get both of the littles ready for the day, or running errands, time management can be stressful sometimes.
I hate going out in public without looking and feeling put together. I’ve always been that way. I love that over the years makeup companies have designed quick…

BHCosmetics Eye Crayon VS NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil
Two similar products, same function, and similar prices. But which is better?
BHCosmetics?
NYX?
Quite frankly, both are. But let me tell you the difference between them if it were to help you choose which is best for you.
BHCostmetics:
It's waterproof (seriously, a make-up remover wipe won't cut it, I had to use the Sens'Eyes to remove this).
It's long lasting (then again, waterproof or not, I always wear an eye primer base, so I can't guarantee it's long lasting without it too).
Comes in 8 shades, most of which have some sort of shimmer (especially the baby blue, which the sparkles really do come off).
NYX:
Not waterproof.
Creamy (don't put it on without a base, it will crease and/or smudge).
Comes in 32 shades, haven't seen shimmery ones, they're mainly metallic if anything.
What can they be used for?
Despite being eye shadow crayons, I don't recommend using them a lot as an eye shadow, especially without a primer base. The NYX cosmetics one will crease, even WITH a primer base.
I personally use them to make the eye shadow color come out more. I put on a primer, choose a color (my most used color is Milk by NYX), and put on the shadow on top of that which sets the creamy color and makes the eye shadow come out stronger.
If I would recommend a color from each, it would be Milk by NYX and Shadow by BH (it's the blackest black I've seen in these). Keep in mind, the black should be used for smoky eye looks, where you want a really dark black color. Or if you have a preference in color you use on your eyes (ie. blue), then go for that color. I just thought I'd mention the difference. =)
