High Altitude Chill
SF MEET 2019
Here’s a little video and a story about what is “SF MEET”.
As Shadow Friends we’ve gone to many car-related events here in Baltics and East Europe in past couple of years. We did enjoy them a lot, but year after year going to the same official events started to feel too repetitive and it felt like we are missing something. One day we got an idea that we would like to try organizing something like that ourselves, a special day that we write down in calendar, prepare for weeks in advance and celebrate!
What we decided to do was to do the things we like the most - drive our cars through some beautiful places, enjoy summer time by going to beach, put some tyres on an abandoned field to mark the track and do autocross time-attack runs for a bottle of cola. We also did some night “touge” runs and ended the day with a tasty BBQ before going to sleep in tents.
Of course it doesn’t sound too different from things that we have done before when we met up with each other on weekends, but we wanted to have this one special date to remember, and this for sure was one of the most memorable weekends we’ve had so far as Shadow Friends.
Sadly, shine’s BMW had to go, so not all of us were able to drive cars on this special day and enjoy it to the fullest, but it was a lot of fun nonetheless. Hopefully this short video shows You how fun it was for us and what kind of atmosphere surrounded us on this “special event”, because this video for sure will be something we will look back at with a smile on our face.
