I am honestly so excited to write this blog post!! We all know I adore Fenty Beauty and basically try everything they release and since they released their powder foundation back in December they have been a little quiet. Little did we know they were planning a game changer of a product!
Cut to a few months later (more specifically 26th March) they released a new face base product I already adore and want to use everyday. Since lock down I have been leaning towards lighter foundations in terms of formula and coverage so this product is like Fenty found out what I wanted and gave it to me! Everyone it’s time to meet the Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint, £25.00. This product is the most insane because it offers you skin so much and yet it’s probably the most natural looking from all the Fenty face base products. Let’s get down to details, this skin tint comes in 25 shades and is designed to be a light - medium coverage, blurring face product for a no makeup makeup look.
Unlike previous collections this range has 25 flexible shades, might be confusing but let me explain. Rihanna’s usual foundation’s come in 50 shades so you’re probably wonder why 25 in this collection. Well let me tell you! In this range we have flexy shades which basically means the shade you are in this collection is different to previous. In my case I usually wear 120 in the hydrating and powder foundation and in the matte foundation I mix 100/120 and Fenty (god bless them) released a chart which I pictured above showing you what shade you would be. So I wear shade 1 in this new collection and that covers anyone who wears shades 100 to 130. So in this range I would highly recommend you to check out the colour you’ll be in this collection.
So I ordered this skin tint at like 12.01 on the 26th because I was so excited to try it out and while I was waiting and obviously excited I checked out people wearing the product on TikTok. Straight away you would see the difference this product had on your skin instantly which is crazy, everyone who filmed a video looks flawless and yet so natural and I noticed from Rihanna’s tutorial and a lot of TikToks everyone was applying this skin tint with their hands. Not gonna lie this threw me off because I haven’t done that in years!! But if it’s good enough for Ri it’s good enough for me!
Before applying the skin tint I primed my face with the Mattifying Pro Filtr Primer from Fenty (obvs). After applying the primer I started off applying 3 dots to each side of my face of the skin tint because everyone said this formula was light but offered good coverage. As instructed I started blending in the product to my skin with my hands and almost instantly I could see the pore blurring effect because any discolouration from my face was instantly gone. It was crazy, I carried on blending the rest and when I looked in the mirror you could see the coverage that evened out my skin tone and made my skin look flawless. It’s crazy because it’s the perfect for people who want a natural no makeup makeup look. When I go back to work this is something I would gravitate towards because it feels so light on the skin and genuinely lasts really well on my combo skin. I honestly adore this product and I’m so happy Fenty decided to release this formula. When you look at all the face base products from Fenty Beauty there really is something for everyone. I am obsessed with the formula, the finish and the buildable coverage it offers.
