So basically Freeform promoted Joceluke and even made shirts and then they realized that the ship name was actually Lucelyn, but it was already too late to change it so they thought "well obviously the only way to fix this is to just kill Jocelyn and end the ship" (this is 100% the reason why they killed Jocelyn I can't think of any other good reason)

The new Malec sneak peak is so so so important. Say whatever you want about the show, but these writers are fixing some pivotal aspects of the books that were racist, body shaming, biphobic or just plain nonsense. The fact that Magnus and Alec's relationship is being built upon trust and mutual respect, and the fact that they can actually talk about what's on their minds rather than- oh I don't know, getting angry at each other and throwing tantrums because "OMG you've had lovers before you even knew me?!? That's preposterous!" is astonishing. We are so used to seeing bisexuals being mocked and demonized for their attraction to both sexes, that Alec's nonchalance towards the subject is like a breath of fresh air. Alec could've easily became another cliché gay character who's salty and dramatic; but instead, we got a headstrong, compassionate warrior that literally sacrifices every ounce of his being for those he loves. Alec didn't make a face when Magnus mentioned Camille, he didn't change the subject out of discomfort, and he didn't get jealous. He said: "Say what's on your mind." And if that's not proof of a healthy relationship, I don't know what is.
