The more involved with the Serpents Toni gets the more the gap between them widens, and it really is during that age especially that you realize that just because you grew up together doesn’t mean you’ll be friends forever, people grow apart, and grow in different ways. At the same time the Northside is showing Betty what she could have if she allowed herself to. Like the relationship with Veronica, and I’m so happy about this, because it’s a completely blank slate and she can just be herself with someone who too knows her recent loneliness. It’ll be really interesting to see how the Toni, Betty and Veronica triangle will develop. It reminded me of a love triangle since her lie to Toni about who she was talking to felt lowkey like cheating. But then again Toni hasn’t been too honest either. And what is up with Toni and Polly? I feel like something’s going on that they aren’t telling her, and is that related to the Cheryl plan? And what is the whole Cheryl situation? Polly is really interesting to see what you’ve done/will do with her since we don’t actually get that much of her in the show. And of course the scene in the library was sooo cute omg. It was amazing. It’s really lovely how they’re starting to interact, their banter, slowly opening up and maybe soon allowing themselves to acknowledge the budding feelings. But really as I’ve said before you’ve built this world where bughead to me is secondary to Betty and Judhead’s own individual stories.
