If you’re a chrono adult then you should not be dating, having sex with or hitting on a chrono minor within 3 to 4 years MAX of your chrono age.
Not because minors, chrono or otherwise are dumb or less than. Y’all deserve to make decisions about your own bodies. But because the power imbalance is huge and hard to spot in action. From the trenches it can be almost impossible to spot grooming from ether end, it happened to me and a lot of folk i know without anyone knowing to call it that at the time. And now that I’m an adult with a few younger friends it’s very easy to fall into these patterns even if you mean no harm if you don’t have strong boundaries. Not all age gaps are the result of grooming, not all grooming are chrono adult to chrono minor, but it’s frequent enough and hard enough to reliably spot that it constitutes a massive danger zone. Don’t talk to cops, don’t fly boeing and don’t date chrono adults.
