As an Annual Charity Gala held by the Ministry of Magic, everyone has been invited and encouraged to attend. Besides fundraising money for Homes and Dreams (a charity that works to support orphan children of the war), the gala is also used to promote the Minister’s campaign. Both the Ministry and each side of the war should take this opportunity to check out the other side, look for loopholes and weak links.
The event will last a singular night. There is an open bar, live music, a ball room to invite your date (or enemy) for a dance, and of course, many Ministry’s officials to get to known or explore.
Keep in mind this is a public event and the rankings of the Order and Death Eaters are not public knowledge. Any hostility or acts of magic should remain secret and hidden, or your character might have to deal with the multiple Aurors in the venue.
While the event lasts one evening alone for our characters, it will run from Friday August 7th to Tuesday August 11th, 5pm BST/12pm EST.
We ask that all non-event threads are paused during the event to avoid any confusion. Event threads may be finished after the closing date but no new threads should be started.
