Free commission made for ItLivi for a birthday gift. 2015

Honestly this was a straw that broke the camel's back in why I stopped commissions lol. She didn't want to send me measurements all summer so I'd have time for a test fit and making the dress at a good pace, so the entire thing was made in the hotel room overnight during SacAnime 2015. Necklace is made of wooden beads that I painted and air-dry clay for the unique beads. White dress fabric is a bridal satin, and the lavender was a crepe rayon iirc. She ordered the wig pre-made, but the styling had been glued and then shifted during shipping so she asked me to re-do it. I unpicked the style, brushed it, picked out as much glue as I could, and did a dutch braid, pinned strays into place, and trimmed the bangs. The gathers and rosettes were gathered by hand as I fed them into the machine. Considering the rush, I think the bodice fitting turned out pretty decent with the purple detailing. Livi stayed awake with me and helped line up patterns I had made, but I later caught her telling people she made it herself with the "help" of a friend. Xion had surprised her by making Lemrina to match her, and Haley and I dressed as different versions of Inaho. This wasn't the 1st time someone failed to credit me for a commission or claimed work as theirs(at least they were all paying clients anyway lol), but it was one of the ones that hit in a way to make me stop wanting to create for others if my efforts were so thankless.
