Also do you think the twins would be as abusive to him as most fics make it out to be?
I mean the twins are of high status. They are forced to maintain a perfect appearance at all times for their family. They must act as their parents see fit 24/7. Their grades must be perfect, even the subjects they far exceed kids their age in. They must win everything they compete in, and any and all competition is encouraged by their parents up to the point itās forced onto them. They also are forced to perform constantly, despite the fact they donāt even need the money. Failure to comply with everything means they face punishment, and literally anything they do earns them criticism and hate from those who donāt have any clue what their life is like.Ā
Mabel may seem to take all this with a smile, but sheās become cruel, willing to physically hurt people that risk failure of what sheās barely crawling through. Sheās been conditioned that she has no choice but to be the best, that most people are inferior. Dipper not only faces all the stress of home but has an extensive history of being bullied himself. Itās made him bitter and hateful of all but a few select people, people like Mabel heāll do anything for. And honestly thatās not something he even completely benefits from, as he often has to spend his time trying to juggle everyoneās expectations and as well as whatever his sister needs of him. It doesn't help that heās also been turned into an obsessive, compulsive, perfectionist.
Here these two kids are, summoning a demon of all things in order to not be a failure, and they capture a pitiful crybaby. One that lets uncertainty hang over itās head and letās others walk all over it. And they do. Itās all theyāve been taught to do.
Does Rev!Bill deserve it? Absolutely not. Do the twins deserve it? Absolutely not. Sometimes the abused just become abusers, and Rev!Bill ended up getting the short end of the stick.
