Kicking off the 4th of July celebrations with a portrait of Harvey Weinstein. He lived his version of the American Dream for decades and had he been a bit more discreet he would have probably become President. Unlucky. Coverage is pretty much focused on him but I do wonder what kind of fucked up legal system allowed him to get away with what he did over and over? The media should be looking at that as well and perhaps outing all his conspirators. Whether it was done 'legally' through bribes or settlements and NDA's signed with the victims by his team of lawyers.. Or by intimidation tactics and spying carried out by former mossad agents that he hired.. Or by means of using media outlets and the free press to discredit victims.. He was able to buy his own Freedom to commit criminal acts. Yes people will claim the system works because he was eventually convicted but it came way way too late.. Especially for all the victims of his crimes.
