I'm always telling my students to clean their bobbin case frequently. Guess who hasn't? I was just about to take my machine in for fixing because it wasn't sewing right and decided to peek in the bobbin area! This is what came out! Picking my battles (A new day ,a new sewing machine)
** ** ** Well, if achieving your dreams and career was easy then more people would be successful right? Since the end of last week I have been trying to figure out my sewing machine for class. I haven't used one of any kind since high school so I have been having quite the experience. To keep a super long story short I had to go Hancock Fabrics. After watching a tutorial on YouTube, reading the instructional manual and watching the DVD for my actual machine I just couldn't get it right. Plus I'm already a little late with the assignments (not my favorite thing to do a lot). So I exchanged it for sewing machine that hopefully is one my level of sewing. Sometimes you just have to know your limits. Thankfully I have an understanding Fashion Sewing Techniques instructor and was able to finally fixed my problem. I seriously need to work on not being so hard on myself. It's a work in progress. Lesson is learned. I'm watching the Machine Intro DVD first this time around. Fingers crossed I will have much better results. Also, hopefully this bug I have will clear out soon. I need to be back to feeling 100%. ********** ************
**Well, this bobbin is still giving me the fitz even after reading the manual again. I had one wound ,but it got tangled. Frustration and tiredness are a horrible combo. This is on top of still not feeling well. At least I turned in the sewing samples that didn't required actual thread and the written assignments. I don't like turning in late assignments even when it has a designated spot and is accepted by the instructor. However , sometimes it has to be done. Going to need so much needed prayer to get through Midterms this week. Putting it aside for now and getting some much needed rest. I will get back to it later in the am. Sweet Dreams.******
