He's going to romance Wyll because he loves Heros. And he respects Wyll's choice to give up a life of luxury to be a protector.

I've decided that becoming a spawn was Maccus' worst nightmare, because I love making all my OCs sad I guess.

Also I made his Guardian a pre-Maccus Sevryn (actual Sevryn on the right)
