RK: glances in Mono's general direction

Mono: he loves me

If he likes Six, then Mono gets pissed

If he likes Mono, then Six gets pissed

If he doesn't like either of them, they bug him endlessly

What if Mono and RK knew eachother before Mono met Six

What if like, they met in that one place where all the children were that was burning down(in the comics) and were friends with eachother

What if before the place burned down, it was all of the children's little hideout and RK and Mono were sorta the decided leaders cause they were the only ones brave enough to go out looking for food and supplies such

When they're eventually found out and all the children start getting snatched up, Mono and RK are separated

So then time skip to that moment in the comics with Mono in the tree and him first seeing Six

Maybe the reason he was so drawn to her in the first place was because of how similar she looked to RK, and maybe the reason he's so dead set on protecting her is because he wishes he was able to save RK

But then the moment with the Thinman taking Six sorta triggered some flashback for Mono and he coward in fear

I don't know this is me just spitballing

I'm tired as hell and I just wish there was more stuff with these two

But then I found out it was actually Six and I was all "aw :(" I ended up shipping Monix anyway but still
