charon makes…   some sort of disgruntled noise, swatting the fourth sinner's hand away with a small pout.   whatever words she was about to speak,  if she were even about to say anything at all, are quickly forgotten once the candy is within her grasp.   though her expression barely changes, there's a near-imperceptible shine to her eyes when her gaze settles upon the sweets.   quickly, charon pops one into her mouth, allowing a soft hum of approval. any past transgressions are soon forgiven.

hands  ishmael  a  cigarette.  you  look  like  you  need  it.

Fuck  it,  she'll  indulge. 

“  Thanks,  Ryoshu.  ”  Ishmael  answered,  taking  the  cigarette  from  Ryoshu's  hand  with  a  small  exhale  of  exasperation. 

They  had  a  long  day.  Most  days  were  exceptionally  long  for  them,  but  they  were  headed  to  U  Corp's  district  and  that  was  enough  for  her  to  take  a  step  back.  A  step  to  desperately  keep  her  feelings  in  line  after  seeing  the  others  have  their  own  reactions  to  returning  ‘home’  for  lack  of  better  words.

The  ginger  lit  it  before  she  took  a  drag  and  glanced  away  from  Ryoshu.  She  opened  her  mouth  for  a  mere  moment  to  think  about  saying  something  in  regards  to  her  feelings  and  decided  against  it.  What  use  would  that  be? 

he is always that easy to read , huh . the shortest sinner looks at the tallest sinner , silent for a moment as he looks on out in the distant . every since everything that had happen with . . . kromer . when he sees saude . . . he really can ' t help but blame himself with the death of effie. effie didn't deserve any of it. he didn't deserve to have his arm torn clean off him. his leg torn off his body . . . both missing body parts to be added in with metal parts, only for him to be impaled soon after .

it was sick . it sickened him. it made rage still quell inside him. with the rage also came the nightmares of it. he might have been able to leave his past . . . but the deaths that happened are because of him. effie's blood is on his hands. his family's blood is forever stained all over on his body. even when all of this is gone where is he going to do ? once the sinners have all the golden boughs that they need . . .

where does that lead him ?

❝ ah . . . nothing gets past you , huh ? it 's . . . nothing . it just some nonsense that has been sitting in my head . what are you doing over here ? i thought dante wanted you to go with him to check out something with the rest ? ❞ curious on that notion . sinclair opted to stay behind this time around, wanting to help watch over the bus ( not only that but charon & vergilius needed to leave the bus as well so why not have sinclair stay behind ) .

She blushes as she just leans into Ryoshu after the kiss. A silent smile appears on her face as she kissed her back. She genuinely loved little moments like this. It was comfortable enough to nod off if not for a scant few moments

it's as if she's energy. all being absorbed into a ball, and yoshihide's hand is that of the touch which causes her brain to overload.

"h— huh......?" a dazed blink as her pupils dilute & shake by the sudden act of affection. though it's not long before she charges up. her clasped hands entwining while she shakily bounces upward. an immediate invasion of her space.

eyes peeled directly on yoshihide. an act of kindness. no... no! an act of acknowledgement. could this... could this be? oh but, it'd be presumptuous of her? her confidence soared as quickly as it was depleting. "y...yoshihide, w-what was this all about?"

then a lightbulb.

ahh.... ah...

a drawn out sigh, hand scratching against his temple. bemused by the situation he now finds himself in. the city is always cooking up it's fair share of eccentric few, huh? "lookie here, ok?" a vague wave of the hand. "i don't follow recent trends or the like, you'll gotta use your words."

which fortunately for him to some extent she had. so he'll brush off this one time.
