ive tried and i dont judge those that do but i cannot for the life of me understand the hype for mark and helly. making their relationship romantic didnt add any dimension to it to me and i think that keeping them as friends would make their arc better. like, helena having sex with mark would have been more impactful to me if helly saw him purely as a friend - helena is using her identity to something she wouldnt want for her own pleasure, and luring mark into something the real helly cant reciprocate once she comes back.
