This was taken on the outbound platform of the Seven Train at 72nd Street and Roosevelt Avenue. Landmarks of Manhattan are visible in the background—one can see the Empire State, the Chrysler, and Citicorp Buildings along with a cluster of midtown towers toward the right side of the frame.

Here’s a photograph I took along Roosevelt Avenue in Queens. The cross street is 73rd Street, though I believe I might be climbing around the 74th Street Station for the Seven Train. The building visible here, across the street, is now gone, with a bank taking up the entire block.
