Spoiler Free Review of Seven Days of You By Cecilia Vinesse Sophia has seven days left in Tokyo before she moves back to the States. Seven days to say good-bye to the electric city, her wild best friend, and the boy she's harboured a semi-secret crush on for years. Seven perfect days... Until Jamie Foster-Collins moves back to Japan and ruins everything. Jamie and Sophia have a history of heartbreak, and the last thing Sophia wants is for him to steal her leaving thunder with his stupid arriving thunder. Yet as the week counts down, the relationships she thought were stable begin to explode around her. And Jamie is the only one who helps her pick up the pieces. Sophia is forced to admit she may have misjudged Jamie, but can their seven short days of Tokyo adventures ends in anything but good-bye? When I finally got the chance to sit down and really get into the story, I found this to be quick fast paced contemporary read. We start the story at the very beginning of the seven days with an introduction to Sophia, who absolutely does not want to move to the the States after four years with her friends in Tokyo. With her departure comes news of an arrival, Jamie, a long time friend of her BFF is coming back after 4 years away at boarding school. The only problem is Sophia and Jamie did not part on the best of circumstances and neither of them are quite sure on how to approach the other during their reunion. I really enjoyed reading this story, it made me long to try many, many Japanese goodies ... seriously, some of the food described in the book. Yum. The growth and character development we see in this story, by every character not just the protagonists made me curious about other stories by Cecilia. Seven Days of You is an adorable read that would be perfect for summer reading. I give this story 3 1/2 βοΈ ** I received this book for an honest review **
