-- hurricane of static ;
He tried not to listen to his surroundings. Soohyuk's pulse was physically easy to notice in his ears, they were literally thumping to the beat of the music. As he wasn't particularly used to it, he sat at the bar with comfort. The bartender was just a presence, he replaced the drinks and walked back and forth to keep Soohyuk from zoning out, a presence with a purpose.
It took more than enough to get Soohyuk to stand, he had hands run over his back and lips whisper to his ear. Then he realized he was the only man at the bar who's feet still touched the ground when he sat down, that was somewhat of a sore thumb for him.
Therefore he stood, and once he did -- he had his eyes set on patterns. Words thrown here and there but ink embedded into skin, he followed the ink up the stairs and to the luxury but he could only barely notice due to a different feeling of carpeting. He spoke up, out of some kind of instinct to say something. "Hey," His baritone broke through and made way to the other, once he turned around --
Soohyuk saw a familiar face, a face of a changed man but nevertheless, he was none other than Lee Seungjun. "Ah --" Soohyuk pointed at the tattoos lined up which ever way on his arms. "-- Seungjun-ah, I like those. A lot."
He kept his face a deadpan, a blank slate to the rather exaggerated expression that was given in return.
A note arrives on a suspect black box, though this one is small, containing only a cellphone.
As soon as Kyungsoo set eyes upon the little black box a smile pulled at his lips. The corners of his mouth turned upwards enough for pearly white teeth to be seen. It was a grin, something Kyungsoo hadn't adorned for quite a while, but then again any contact from Jun had the tendency to provoke such a positive reaction.
He bent down and ran a careful finger over the familiar handwriting, before picking the package up and retracing his steps back inside his home.
Sitting cross-legged on his unmade bed, the boy opened the black box first, eyes widening slightly at the cellphone inside. He held the phone in one hand, the gadget piquing his interest immediately. However instead of fiddling with it, he concentrated on the letter, reading each word carefully.
"Dead?" He mumbled the word over and over, until it became nothing more than a sound with no meaning. "I might look like death sometimes, but I'm very much alive." He assured himself with a nod.
After reading the note several times, trying to imagine Jun's voice in his head, but each time failing to get it quite right, he wondered if perhaps the other wouldn't mind a chat now and then, after all Kyungsoo felt threatened by just about everything.
