#setting tag

I kinda wanna do this for both Blackbird and DBHB, so I’ll do one setting from each and then tag the equivalent of the lowest word count because I never know enough people to tag a lot.

WIP: Blackbird

Cuorren des Leonne Merodalia - Seaside Rome has one hell of a gang problem.

Explanation - The country it’s in is based off of Italy and, as the capital, it’s therefore based off of Rome (to a degree). There’s a significant crime problem, what with gangs like the White Eagles and Rose Serpents always competing against each other and getting into violent fights, so, yeah, that’s how we have seaside Rome with a gang problem.

WIP: Desolate Boy, Heartless Boy

Littleship - A farmer, two lesbians, and some elderly folk assemble for the harvest.

Explanation - Littleship is a minuscule hamlet in the middle of rural England. The only neighbours are a farming family and most of the residents are retired pensioners, with the exception of the charming, sapphic parents of Jesper Dale. Also, their farming neighbours are super generous to them all when the autumn harvest comes in.

im gonna do: OCEANIA

a whole country hidden under the shore line made out of teal, blue, green buildings.

explanation: Oceania is the city for water-based spirits, it’s where they live! there are a couple of above shore cities/meeting bases. it’s hard for land visitors to get permission to enter as magic is needed. i’ve described it as teal blue and green because those are colours that i heavily associate with the ocean and sea people

Under the Old Castle: In the air there was only dust and echoes.

Explanation - I'm being cryptic because I haven't introduced my WIP yet. Soon, I promise! This is where one of the major characters comes face to face with something very, very old and very, very foul which makes the mess everyone is in exponentially worse.

Find The Word Tag

rules: find the words given to you in your wip if they are present and then give different words for the people you tag.

Fire: “She is lost in the sunlight of God, a bundle of golden rays that bleaches the darkness and envelops her body like warm hands around a firefly.”

(Is this technically fire? No. But in the 11k words I’ve written it’s the only fire i’ve got y’all please forgive)

Interest: N/A (surprisingly)

Glare:  “She casts an accusatory glare at Carter, which bounces like a pebble off a boulder.” 

Touch: N/A (again, a real surprise)

Since I’m trying to get TSAOSOL started, I’ll do a setting from there. 

Eastridge - A wealthy suburb in Orange County with a surprising amount of locations to makeout. 

Explanation: Eastridge has a lot of hidden spots including Top of the World, the hill overlooking a large expanse of the county where the seniors of Eastridge High go to watch the sunrise or hang out with friends or end dates.
