in konoha's state of the world, konoha witnesses hibihiyo's deaths countless of times;

in the 7th novel, shintaro is witnessing the timeline he is in coming to an end;

and in additional memory, ayano is made to bear witness to her regrets.

however, when a television is not in the daze, but instead present in whatever meta-narrative space that the music videos exist in, the tv instead seems to represent a greater understanding of the predicament the characters are in.

the characters we see who interact with a television in this manner are kano, ayano, and saeru. basically, characters who are shown to physically interact with this symbolic television, are characters who are later revealed to have been aware of the bloody future that lies ahead for them.

there is one other character who is seen interacting with a television in this matter, and that character is seto:

however, what sets seto apart from the others is that there are two versions of himself interacting with this television; his current self, and his younger self. this strongly implies that from a young age, seto had known of the tragic ending laid out for his family and friends... which is also then supported by this part of his mv:

and this is then confirmed outright* in the 8th novel, 3 years after the release of his mv 🥲🥲🥲

meaning from a very young age, seto had been the sole witness to the carnage that laid ahead for himself and his loved ones.. 🥲

this description of seto is used all the way up until volume 5, which is when his powers are finally explained. in the manga, his powers are explained in chapter 24. in the novels, his powers are only explained in novel 5.
