While working in advertising and in comics and cartoons Paris-born Julien Malland, aka Seth, began painting in the streets for pleasure. Seth's passion soon became his profession and in 2003 he began traveling the world and engaging with artists from different cultures. During his explorations he began developing his distinctive style and concepts, most often dealing with childhood and innocence in the face of difficult contexts, and drawing from the stories of the locale. Back in his hometown in June, 2013 Seth applied color to the gray rains of June in a way perhaps only appropriate in The City of Lights. Across from Square René Le Gall the wall at Rue Emile Deslandres and Rue Berbier du Mets is still in remarkable shape years later.  @seth_globepainter/
