I've been thinking of Seteth x Manuela again lately and it's such a waste they never had an in canon dialogue about Manuela trying to save Flayn and almost dying over it. Like Seteth was on the verge of a breakdown the entire month, I cannot believe he wouldn't thank her or hug her in his desperation about getting his daughter back. It wasn't even mentioned in their supports, which were very cute but that was a huge plot point in each route that they neglected to ever mention again.

The fact that Seteth loves to write and has multiple lost items and a few private tutoring questions based around it makes me so happy. I just imagine him, a millennia ago with a baby Flayn on his lap and his wife leaning against his chest, both entirely rapt as Seteth reads a fable he's written recently.

The day Seteth has learned that Byleth and Claude were going to marry, he has called the king of almyra in his office and has had a NICE chat with him about what he was going to do to him if he dared to hurt Byleth. Claude was traumatized for hours. Flyan had pity of him so she has not do the same thing.

Flayn and Ferdie has a support chain revolving around them hugging and it's very adorable but at the end Ferdie says they shouldn't tell Seteth about this and Flayn agrees. Ferdie has the Crest of Cichol and now I can only imagine Seteth finding out about Flayn and Ferdie's hugging and him absolutely /fuming/ about how he trusted the first Von Aegir and this is how his descendents repay him; kind of like Rhea's breakdown over a Hresvelg descendant betraying her but 1000x more petty.

Okay but Rhea and Seteth in ugly Christmas sweaters knitted by Flayn, which are barely recognizable as sweaters but everyone is too intimidated to comment.

Flyan: Father, Dimitri told me that he lost his sense of taste since his father's death.// Seteth: HE WHAT?// Flyan: Also he has apparently painful headhaches and insomnias.

on the topic of Babeys: imagine claude or byleth walking into a meeting one morning after they have their first lil bab and they look like death. someone asks them what’s wrong and they can’t help but spill about how the baby isn’t sleeping or whatever it is that’s wrong. seteth’s Dad Instincts immediately take over and without even looking up from his work, he tells them exactly what to do. (behind his faux nonchalance, he’s remembering him and his wife being just as frazzled with baby flayn.)
