Bakura.
I find Valentine's Day to be a pointless celebration of mortal delusion. The concept of mutual romantic love is foolishness and it never lasts. For two humans to position themselves where they can both strike and be struck in the very soul by each other is perhaps the poorest choice they could ever make.
However.
I still want to take this opportunity to thank you for allowing me to be a part of your life, and for being a part of mine. I am honored to have your blessing, as a member of your army, to fight alongside you in your mission. And regardless of what troubles have come, I mean it when I say I wouldn't trade my life alongside you for anything else.
It sounds callous when I say we don't need each other, but it makes it all the more meaningful that I stay with you and that you keep me with you. There is always more value in acting upon volition rather than necessity.
Over time, I've acquired a taste for raw garlic. Not because I particularly like it, but because it reminds me of you. Your kisses taste like garlic, and gold, and anger, and there is something I find frighteningly magnetic about them, and your composition in general.
I suppose I could go on about everything I like about you, but your entirety can't be encompassed in words, and I'm not keen on giving you fodder for your ego. (I give you a hard time about your arrogance, but honestly, I'm glad you see your value and don't sell yourself short.) I don't need to say you're perfect. I don't need to say how important you are to me. You know it all.
Just know that if Ammut chokes on my heart, it will be because it belongs to you.
