(1/2)I don't know if this is a headcanon exactly or just a guess, but I think that in Badwater, the person who Keisha saw when she was under her truck was a hoodie oracle, who knew she was about to get jumped by the Instigator and showed up so she'd come out, give up and try to drive to a town with the rock under her rig. Then that light stopped the Instigator from making a move during the sandstorm (associated with Praxas?).
(2/2)So I headcanon that the reason no light or oracle stopped the Instigator in Prey is because the group opposing Thistle and Bay and Creek purposely set up Alice to be Keisha’s only chance, so Alice would come out of hiding and bring Keisha into her work
1) I hadn’t thought about that really, I guess I always assumed that the person that Keisha saw from under the truck was the instigator, but then again, I always wondered: why didn’t she kill Keisha in that exact moment? did she want it to be a complete surprise? that doesn’t seem like it; she liked to put in a good show as we saw in the last episode. So maybe you’re right there… huh… I’ve listened to that episode like 20 times, I guess I have to do it again
2) wait wait you’re saying that Alice was hiding from Bay and Creek?Â
Because that makes sense, it would show that Alice discovered that B & C wasn’t as good as she thought (assuming she thought they were good in the first place) and ran away from them to like try to bring them down. But I guess we won’t know until next season. I have so many questions I would like Alice to answer.Â
