S'Talon's Brother, Serinn has been BORN
HI EVERYONE SOMETHING HAPPENED AND I NEED TO SHARE WITH YOU AS NORMALLY AS POSSIBLE....

So @wafflingchemist tagged me on an OC character profile post and asked about S'Talon....well while filling out his profile I realized he totally has an older brother. Then I told @deepspacedukat about it....and now S'Talon's brother has been fully birthed into the universe.
WELCOME SERINN!
Serinn is S'Talon's older brother, by 3 years. Whereas S'Talon went into the Tal Shiar, Serinn went into politics. He was raised knowing the family legacy would be on his shoulders. S'Talon was allowed to play around but Serinn had to endure very strict pathways for his life. When their parents passed, the running of the family business/estate fell on Serinn's shoulders.
Serinn, now serves on multiple boards. He sits on a board of governors in Ki Baratan, he sits as Chariman on multiple charity boards including running the museums and zoos of their capital city. All Praetors know to make friends with Serinn as he is well connected and can help boost or sink any political appointment.
Personality wise, Serinn is almost the opposite of S'Talon. He is serious, direct, and very business-like. He isn't cruel by any stretch of the imagination but he isn't exactly known for being the life of the party. He has always relied on S'Talon's mega-watt charisma to charm anyone they needed in their corner, whereas Serinn himself handled the minutia. He is deeply loyal to the Empire and even more so to his family. As the head of their clan, he oversees the marriages and finances of all their cousins.
Physically he is a taller than S'Talon (S'Talon is 6'5, Serinn is closer to 6'7) and actually more bulky and stronger than his younger brother. The reason is because Serinn has very few outlets for stress aside from exercise and sword fighting. He also tries to swim daily and when he is very stressed out, he does push ups behind his desk.
Serinn and S'Talon love each other dearly, despite their differences. Serinn is a bit jealous of how naturally personal relationships come to S'Talon, and for the fact that the burden of managing the family clan isn't S'Talon's to take on. S'Talon has offered Serinn help for years, but Serinn always refuses, believing it is his burden to carry. Even though Romulus is a matriarchy, due to the fact that Serinn is the most senior member of their clan, he is the patriarch of their clan. S'Talon wishes his brother would lighten up more and enjoy life but knows not to push too hard.
Relationships: Serinn is currently without a partner. He has had lovers but despite the fact that he is one of Romulus's most eligible bachelors (along with his brother....) he has never pursued anything long term. It isn't that he doesn't want to be in love or have a family, he has just given up on the idea of it ever happening for him.
I may or may not need to write about Serinn eventually. I mean....how could I not?!?!?!
