I had painted this model before running into my reconsideration and as with many of the models I’m painting these days it’s just for testing purposes.

I had got in the transfers for the Death Guard from forgeworld and was just too excited not to put them onto a model. In retrospect putting one on a test model is kind of a waste but it was fun and came out looking great. The knee was also something I wanted to test. Space Marines have a lot of iconography to indicate rank and esteem and I don’t know how to implement that so I was trying out bringing in some of that Grey Knight imagery with a silver knee pad to indicate a sergent or some kind of marks of valor. Not sure about the knee pad or the iconography, as always input, ideas and feedback is always super welcome.

Next time we’re going to finally get into list building but after that…
