Aegis had been hanging out near a certain alley she heard might have been a spot for a particular mugger in this area. While she didn’t exactly want to use civilians as bait she couldn’t really confront the person without probable cause nor could she call the police for someone just hanging out in an alley.
She stood up, suddenly on alert when she noticed a man passing the area alone. The streets were empty save for the two of them and as he turned down the dark path for a shortcut she rushed after him to make sure he wasn’t jumped or hurt too badly.
The scene that met her as she rounded the corner, however, was not exactly what she had been expecting. The mystery gentleman was standing over her suspected mugger who appeared to be... out cold.
“Oh wow.” Aegis said, frozen and stunned by how quick and effortless the disarming had been. “So much for saving you. Jeez. Might have to call an ambulance for him.”

"So bows huh, that really a thing still?"
"Yeah, it is. The archery club I frequent is pretty busy." She can't tell if he's being an ass or not.

”Hey, uh…” Not exactly the protocol for approaching other agents, but it was a task Ray wasn’t really used to doing. Marco had given it to him though, for the sole purpose of encouraging him to reach out to other agents, to try to work past at least the ‘can’t be bothered’ end of Ray’s non verbalism.
Ray let out a breath before holding up the files Marco had sent him to drop off. “Agent Ellis from Field sent me with these…”
Technically Marco was in the Special Forces, but Field was the more general department.

There’s a look of recognition in Simon’s face amid the amusement. A little patronizing, as if Anthony had done something cute... Like a puppy trying to mimic human speech. Soldiers didn’t have a monopoly on being bitter pessimists. “I guess you’d know,” he shrugged after a moment.
Sighing, he knew that this was going to be an awkward thing to admit. Most people didn't realise just how high a tolerance he had for pain. This gash was definitely painful, but not as much as the other was thinking. "It hurts, yeah," he explained, looking down to see just how bad it was. Even though he'd had worse, he didn't want to actually say that. It might give the other an impression that only his team knew about. "But not as much as you think. I'm used to being in pain. That is nothing more than an annoyance," Steve explained, hoping that it made some sort of sense. Especially since the other might need to stitch him up. Which would mean showing another side of himself that he wasn't really used to showing. "Being constantly sick growing up meant I learned ho to live with pain. Guess it carried over to after I got the serum, too."
