Tired of the uptight lifestyle of the High Elves where he is from he sought the freedom of the Seas to find his own adventure and purpose gaining a slight reputation aboard the ships he would serve on as a real swordsman and guardian on long voyages through dangerous seas as "The Violet Blade" for his penchant for the color with a long Violet sash wrapped around his waist and deep purple wrapped grip on his Saber along with his Aquamarine colored eyes really make him stand out.
While on land he would rather believe in himself and his saber, but out on the water he knows Umberlee, Gozreh, or The Wildmother will have the first say and the last laugh.
