For anyone in or near Orange County, California, check out the artist, Suzy Roach, Tumblr url ser-pyro. She specializes in pyrography (a.k.a. wood burning) and has a wide variety of styles. She does custom portraits for people as well as portraits of celebrities. Everything she does is by hand, which is hard to believe when you see her work. You can see her stuff on her website.Â
She'll be at an event in Orange County called RAW on October 19th, which promotes independent artists of all fields. Tickets are only $15! I bought two. Check it out!
