queer sex and horror (but not like gore (well that's also not true i love a shitty slasher just not things like saw and hostel like it must be obviously corn syrup and hotdogs ykwim) etc i love suspense horror and abstract horror and just the general anticipatory unease of good pacing) especially in art! i'm not good at writing fluff :( i'm also learning that i'm having a lot of fun narratively in the fantasy genre! i haven't written in high fantasy since i was in high school, and i'm remembering why i had so much fun back then, so it's been nice stepping back into those shoes <3

queer love with a happy ending you rule my entire life. overpowered characters is also something i'm weak for i blame dragonball z when i was a kid! enemies to lovers is also super fun, especially enemies who stay enemies but fuck nasty on the side

shock value isn't my thing for sure, body swap, anything involving organized crime, buddy cop tropes and most cop propoganda, royals propoganda ie the crown (the british), manic pixie dream girl, most romance tropes (fun to write not digest) im probably missing sooo much but i cannot think of anything else lmaoo
