ℭ𝔯𝔢𝔞𝔱𝔲𝔯𝔢𝔰 𝔦𝔫 𝔞 𝔇𝔯𝔢𝔞𝔪
What fell beast with feet made of xylophone bells, hath crept, hath snuck silent between your worlds walls leaving not a trace - The face pressed into coins of an ancient world you've invented and forgotten all in a blink. The friend you thought you knew once before, on your neighbors back porch. The animal that carried you home from that place you were not meant to be. Guests at a party you did not know you were invited to. The monster that eats what you are not ready to leave behind. The dog that speaks sweet words in languages you thought you killed long ago.
Who's name keeps showing up in that dream journal? Who's address is the serial number on the folds of your brain? What is it, that thing, that calls your name from the dark, that softly beckons, that makes you feel as if you've met before, when you know that you haven't.
