September Run-through

I started attending my review classes this month. We were encouraged to attend the comprehensive exams that followed to serve as a review as well. However, I opted not to because the approach to the actual exam is entirely different from the comprehensive exams given. Instead of studying harder, I would want to study smarter. As I already have a firsthand experience in taking the actual exam, I know now where to put my attention to and how I should study in a way that it won’t be too overwhelming. So, instead of overloading myself with copious amounts of information, I would want to focus more on the topics that I had an unsatisfactory performance of understanding the concepts.

Also, I’ve been studying out more often with two of my high school friends. Macao Imperial Tea at Morayta, Infinitea at Gastambide and McDonald’s at Lepanto, became second homes to us. I would often bring my laptop to access my online materials while reconciling them with the information I acquired during lectures. But sometimes, I only have my handouts with me to practice more with the computational aspect of the review. I’m slowly building up my productivity and motivating myself to achieve my daily goals of working through my review.
